You can join the ARW subgroup when you become a member of the Alaska Writer's Guild. There is no additional fee.

Juneau Writers
Typically, a few writers will have submitted their pieces a week in advance (up to 15 pages) prior to the meeting to give members plenty of time to provide a thoughtful critique. You don't have to be from Juneau to join. We have had Zoom meetings with people from all over Alaska (and beyond).
At our monthly meeting, comments are shared orally, and then members provide their more-detailed written comments as a follow-up. We tackle everything but poetry (sorry!).
We don't meet during June, July, and August
For those in Juneau, meetings are at the Juneau Public Library - Mendenhall Branch.
When: Third Thursday of each month at 6:00pm - 8:00pm AKT but are very flexible to accommodate schedules.
