Join the Alaska Writers Guild for the free "Story Stretch: A workout for Writers, illustrators, and Storytellers: Exercise for building creative muscle, generating ideas, and creating momentum."
Come create. Be prepared to write and/or sketch. Old-school tools encouraged (paper, pen, pencil), but suit yourself. Complete fun challenges and exercises, one after another, at a rapid pace.
Who is this for? Anyone who wants to create stories, fiction or non-fiction, writers, illustrators, storytellers. What do you need to participate? Something to write and/or sketch with, and the courage to fling yourself into the unknown, embrace the crazy, and try, try, try.
Use this rapid-fire workshop to ignite creativity, break through a block, stretch your imagination, and have a grand good time doing what you do best. Bring a problem you want to solve, a hurdle you want to leap, a ball you want to get rolling, or a blank canvas on which to start your next masterpiece. And maybe a glass of water or something to replace electrolytes.
