Have you ever wanted to write poetry, but didn't think you had it in you? Or, did you hate poetry in high school because it didn't make sense? Then this workshop is for you! 

April is National Poetry Month, so it seems only fitting for Alaska Writers Guild Mat-Su to focus on poems for our monthly meeting. Please join poet and VP Caitlin M.S. Buxbaum on Tuesday, April 7, for instruction and experimentation with various forms of poetry. Bring your favorite writing utensil, notebook and thinking cap, and be prepared to read and/or hear some raw, original poetry!

This event is free, open to the public, appropriate for ages 13 & up.
