Roman Dial, The Art of Memoir and Nonfiction

Alaskan author Roman Dial has written two books:
Packrafting! (Backpacking Light, 2008) and The Adventurer's Son (William Morrow, 2020), In this talk, he will attempt to describe how he came to write each of these books in such a way that others can gain some insight into finding an audience for their own words.
Roman Dial is an Alaskan adventurer and professor of mathematics and biology at Alaska Pacific University who lives with his wife and Icelandic sheepdog in Anchorage.
