About Jim’s work-
Jim Misko's new novel, As All My Fathers Were, won the GOLD in popular fiction at the Benjamin Franklin Awards sponsored by the Independent Book Publishers Association at their national convention in Austin, Texas, April 11th. Other awards include Nebraska Book of the Year Award GOLD, 2016 Feathered Quill GOLD winner in adult fiction, GOLD in NABE Achievement Awards for fiction

Jim Misko grew up in Ord, Nebraska, moved to Oregon, and then to Alaska in 1974. He has worked as an oil field roughneck, logger, forest service lookout, planer mill hand, truck driver, mink rancher, journalist, school teacher and real estate broker.
Jim and his wife Patti live in Alaska in the summer and California in the winter.
